Tattoo Care Black Rose is an ointment, not a cream, gel, or lotion. Ointments differ from these in that they contain more nourishing ingredients that protect the skin and less water. The ointment’s structure is thicker than cream, so it takes a little more time to apply. Another difference between ointment and cream is that the ointment penetrates deeper into the subcutaneous layer (dermis-derma), thus deeply moisturizing and nourishing the skin from within. This is the part of the skin where your tattoo is located. Because the ointment moisturizes and nourishes this deep part of the skin, the tattoo colors will be more durable and vibrant, while also slowing down their fading. Additionally, the ointment acts occlusively, meaning it also protects the skin on the epidermis. Due to its structure and ingredients, the care effect after using the ointment is more comprehensive than when using cream and lasts longer.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Always store the ointment at room temperature (up to 25°C) and in a dry, dark place.

For fresh tattoos

Before applying the ointment to a fresh tattoo for the first time, gently rinse it with lukewarm water (without using soap). Let it air dry or gently pat it with a paper towel. With clean hands, apply a thin layer of Tattoo Care ointment. Since the ointment’s structure is thicker than cream, try to apply it by taking some ointment with your finger and applying it to the tattoo in a dotting motion (see image below). Wait a few moments for the ointment to warm up slightly with your body temperature, then gently spread it without excessive pulling. You can also apply the ointment just by dotting without spreading. Repeat this process 3 times a day until your tattoo is fully healed (typically 2-4 weeks).

One Tattoo Care ointment (35 g) usually lasts for 1-2 weeks of use, depending on the size of the tattoo and the amount of ointment applied.

For older/existing tattoos

Apply the ointment to the tattoo and spread it well. If the tattoo is larger, we recommend applying the ointment to different parts and then spreading it well over the entire tattoo. The effect will be visible after a few minutes as the skin will be more elastic and fresh-looking. If your tattoo’s colors are not too damaged or faded, they will become more pronounced again and will be more vibrant and shiny. With regular use (at least 2x/week), your tattoo will maintain a fresh and shiny appearance, and the intensity of colors and clear lines of the tattoo will be preserved.

• natural calendula extract in almond oil – soothes the skin and has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant effects,
• olive and jojoba oil – provide long-lasting moisturization and protection, making the skin softer and more elastic,
• vitamin A and vitamin E, Allantoin, Bisabolol (chamomile component) – support the regeneration of sensitive skin, increase collagen production, soothe the skin.
